Introducing the Art Quilter!
The New English Quilter has a new little sister called the Art Quilter! The Art Quilter, as the name suggests was created with the textile artist in mind. It’s ideal for smaller quilts and wall hangings. At 4 feet it is very very portable. It will go wherever your fancy takes you, whether it’s the back garden or the cruise deck!

New Tracks!
Our original tracking system was an innovation at the time because they were amazingly smooth! But with the extensions, there was a bump at the join. And this proved frustrating when you were working on a larger quilt.
So Paul, our innovative genius designer, has been trying to figure out a better way to extend the tracks for some time. The challenge was how to create a seamless join, so the tracks could be extendible and portable.
Sometimes the answer to a puzzle is so simple you just wonder why you didn’t think of it sooner. Paul’s friend Phil suggested cutting the join at angle! A simple brilliant solution!
You can hardly feel the join when you run your finger over it. And with the carriage it’s practically seamless. Well done Paul and Phil! Now the track can be extended to any size we like, and we won’t feel the join while we’re quilting. Not even a little bump!
These tracks are now available for purchasing. Please follow this link to do so!

The New English Quilter has crossed the Atlantic!
Our New English Quilting frames are finding new homes on the other side of the Atlantic. Jill first saw the New English Quilter while she was watching the La Mer DVD. After a bit of emailing back and forth, Jill placed an order. We shipped the frame on Wednesday and it landed inside Jill’s front door Friday morning. That’s door to door transatlantic shipping in 3 days! Amazing. The pilgrim fathers would be jealous! I’m so happy to have the New English Quilter on both sides now!
Jill has a bunch of kids and everyone is keen to have a go. She’s started a blog for anyone interested in following her progress, here’s the link: www.quiltingwithkids.blogspot.com.

Line Dancing DVDs
La Mer is making a splash on both sides of the pond. We’re thrilled with the many positive comments! We’d like to thank everyone who has taken the trouble to give us feedback. We’re finding all the comments very helpful as we work on future DVD’s in the Line Dancing series. We’re offering free domestic and international shipping on the La Mer DVD’s as a new year gift!
La Mer is the first in a series of Line Dancing DVDs aimed at machine quilters with short to mid arm frames. Martha teaches a no mark free-motion method helping machine quilters get the most out of their frames.
